Please note! Extremist Islam is the proverbial "tail that wags the dog." Most Muslims in our community would consider themselves moderate and are quite possibly unaware of the behind the scenes orchestrations being woven into the fabric of American institutions, culture and worldview which are laying the groundwork for the subjugation of this nation to Islam. My point is, do not hate Muslims. In fact, let us demonstrate liberating love to them. But let us do all we can to prevent radical Islam from planting its flag in the midst of our communities, and especially as it concerns Fort Collins, our home! Expose the agenda!
Discovering the links!
The Islamic Center of Fort Collins (ICFC click here) distributes literature by authors and organizations with links to Islamic terror organizations.
Why do they choose to associate themselves with such groups?
Some examples of this are:
-Pamphlets produced by the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (click here and here)
WAMY has direct links to the Saudi Arabian government and its Wahhabi clerics, was co-founded by a member of the Muslim Brotherhood (a radical organization credited with trying to overthrow the Egyptian government and the direct inspiration for groups such as Al-Qaeda and Hamas. For more on them, click here and here.) Other founding members include Osama bin Laden's nephew, Abdullah bin Laden. WAMY also raises funds for Hamas, helps finance the Kashmir insurgency against India, has links to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and the 9/11 hijackers, is linked with groups financing terrorism and the spread of fundamentalist Islam, has ties to the Muslim Student Associations of the US and Canada, (which was itself founded in 1991 by members of the Muslim Brotherhood, click here and here) and who locally have invited extremist Muslims to speak at their meetings (click here), has trustees that support Malaysian terror groups and gives support to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (click here and here) which advocates the overthrow of all non-Islamic governments.
-Fundraising pamphlets for the Al-Furqaan Foundation which seeks to distribute Qur'ans everywhere in the U.S. but whose translator and backers promote anti-human rights ideologies directly in line with their Wahhabi-Deobandi affiliation (click here).
Why choose these organizations?
-Books authored by the extremist leader Abul A'la Maududi, who advocates the overthrow of everything opposing Islam by any and all means. Read this quote by him in his book, "Jihad in Islam."
"Islam is a revolutionary faith that comes to destroy any government made by man. Islam doesn't look for a nation to be in a better condition than another nation. Islam doesn't care about the land or who owns the land. The goal of Islam is to rule the entire world and submit all of mankind to the faith of Islam. Any nation or power that gets in the way of that goal, Islam will fight and destroy. In order to fulfill that goal, Islam can use every power available every way it can be used to bring worldwide revolution. This is Jihad."
To be very fair, the ICFC did not distribute this particular book, but another innocuous one by the same author entitled, "Towards Understanding Islam." But the question remains, Why choose this radical author?
-Speakers -The Islamic Center also invites speakers as fund raisers to build the proposed future Islamic Center of Fort Collins (located on Lake Street, adjacent to the CSU campus) that have direct ties to radical Islamic groups. (Click here)
An example of this is Siraj Wahhaj (Click here and here) who was invited by the ICFC to speak at a fund raiser for the new center on Feb. 9, 2008.
Siraj Wahhaj:
-is on the advisory board for the Council on American-Islamic Relations,
-was named as a possible co-conspirator in the 1993 WTC bombing,
-is someone who advocates the replacement of the US government with an Islamic Caliphate.
Another example of a supporter of Hamas and Hizbollah invited by the MSA is Mahdi Bray, (click here)
Why choose these speakers?
These are clearly unhealthy and unhelpful associations. Consider this quote taken directly from the Muslim Brotherhood document called, "An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America." (Click here) Page 7(of the English section), section 4:
"Understanding the role of the Muslim Brother in North America: The process of settlement is a "Civilization-Jihadist Process" with all the word means. The (Brotherhood) must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourseves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim's destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who choose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal."
The Muslim Student Association has many of the same affiliations as the Islamic Center of Fort Collins. At the recent Islam Awareness Dinner held in the Lory Student Center Ballroom on March 4, '08, many pamphlets were made available that were produced by the Islamic Circle of North America. (Click here and here) The ICNA was founded by the Pakistani radical political party, the Jamaat e-Islami (which helped establish the Taliban), which in turn was founded by Abul A'la Maududi, author of the radical writings mentioned above. Why does the CSU Muslim Student Association choose this organization?
Is this the type of Islamic influence that Fort Collins desires to have in its midst? Can the city honestly allow the construction of a new, high profile Islamic Center which is obviously not willing to distance itself from such radical Islamic influences?
Please pass this on to your friends! Spread the word!
Epilog: The Smith Act, signed into law by FDR in 1940 and which is still in effect, states that it is illegal for anyone to "knowingly or willfully advocate, abet, advise or teach the duty, necessity, desirablility or propriety of overthrowing the Government of the United States or of any State by force or violence, or for anyone to organize any association which teaches, advises or encourages such an overthrow, or for anyone to become a member of or to affiliate with any such association."
Each of the groups and individuals mentioned above does exactly that!
Sue Myrick (R-NC) is introducing legislation to Congress called the "Wake Up America" agenda. In it, she calls for exactly what the Smith Act states, namely to "Introduce a bill to make the preaching, publication, or distribution of materials that call for the death of American citizens, attacks on the United States Government or Armed Forces, or the financing of the means and/or operations to accomplish these acts, acts of sedition and/or solicitation of treason."
